The clip features the band performing the track (a nod to Cars' "Let the Good Times Roll") as teenagers get into sticky situations. A cellphone attack, screen savers come to life entering rooms surrounded by flying viruses.
The band released "Let the Bad Times Roll" last month. It's the title track of their upcoming album on April 16th – their first in almost a decade.
"I feel like we're living in a unique period in history, where instead of our world leaders telling us, 'We're doing our best,' it's more like they're saying 'Fuck it,' and it's honestly terrifying," says Dexter Holland.
Noodles, the band's guitarist, added: "People say, if everything's going to hell anyway, we might as well make the most of our strong points. Or at least try to. Let The Bad Times Roll!"
As part of the promotion, they decided to put out a game with a prize for the winner.
"The Offspring Arcade" lets players smash stuff to the sound of the title track from the American punk rock band's upcoming album.
The game will feature three levels, with the first already revealed, while the rest follow on April 9th and 16th to celebrate the album's release. Fans with the highest scores on April 23rd will win three big prizes from Offspring.
