New Single: Alcestice – 'Ham of the Crowd'

The Alcestice return dynamically with their new single "Ham of the Crowd”, an explosive track that combines heavy rock energy, alternative metal outbursts and straight-up pop hooks. With sarcastic lyrics, aggressive riffs and one of their catchiest choruses to date, the band sounds more mature and determined than ever.

Alcestice keep building their own identity through influences from rock, grunge, punk and alternative metal, comfortably balancing between melodic moments and heavy outbursts.

At the center of it all is the riveting presence of Άλκηστη Ιωαννίδου, the band's singer and main composer, who drives the song with theatricality and intensity. The accompanying music video, directed by Μαρίνα Μέλη and edited by Ιωαννίδου herself, combines dynamic performance shots with a darkly humorous story about an obsessive super fan.

After the debut album “Watch Me” (2024), “Ham of the Crowd” confirms that they're one of the most interesting up-and-coming bands on the contemporary Greek rock scene.

They already have a full-length record under their belt (“Watch Me”, Polyphoniki Records, 2024), consisting of nine songs and accompanied by three music videos, while in April 2026 they released their new single and music video, titled “Ham of the Crowd”.

Having already played live at An Club, at N.A.O.S., as well as at a student protest festival at the 1ο Γ.Ε.Λ.
