The "The Mixtape" EP is the debut of Trailer Park Girl and an ideal first introduction to their sound and music.
A new outfit
The Trailer Park Girl are a newly formed band from Patras. They formed in mid-2021 and within a short span of time wrote and recorded their first work, which was released at the start of this year.
Unpretentious and particularly catchy, the band's first sample of work is a small but very tasty musical morsel. The "The Mixtape" contains a total of 3 songs, with the band managing to cover a significant musical range. It showcases several of their influences, while giving a good and clear first picture of their plans and of the sound they wish to express and represent. An important element of their music, beyond the genres presented, is the fact that it's uplifting and joyful. The definition of feel-good songs.

On the music
Musically, their influences seem to range within garage rock with touches of punk and the classic bluesy details of this sound. It's a particularly accessible musical combination, and although it's not especially original, thanks to the guys' skills and appetite, it delivers songs full of liveliness and energy that win you over immediately. The vintage, "dry" rock sound meets the energy of punk, and combined with the lovely melodic lines, a beautiful and particularly noteworthy result is created.
In conclusion
Within 3 tracks, Trailer Park Girl I believe manage to win the interest and attention of the rock audience. And as the time for their first full-length release approaches, I hope they'll manage to reach, but also surpass, the bar they've set for themselves with "The Mixtape”.
