Six years after their debut album, the Thee Holy Strangers return to the discography with their second LP , a Diary of the Shadow. With new composition and new architecture in their sound, they present seven testimonies of an uncertain era and trace the footprints it leaves behind. Drawing elements from the inexhaustible well of rock'n'roll, soul and folk, they build songs for today that speak of resignation and resilience, darkness and light, sorrow and hope. The new single titled 'A Star Is A Star' gives us a taste. The record is expected on September 9th under Inner Ear (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).

A few words about the band

The Thee Holy Strangers were formed in 2014 by musicians from well-known bands of the Athenian rock n roll scene: The founding members were Αλέξης Καλοφωλιάς (Alex K- The Last Drive, The Earthbound), Nick Fyssakis, John Hardy (Dustbowl), Φλώρα Ιωαννίδη (Make Believe), Τάσσος Παλαιολόγου (700 Machines, Down'n'Out, Dream Long Dead), Τζένη Καπάδαη, Κώστας Χρυσόγελος (Digital Alkemist, ex-Nightsalker).

In 2015 they released a single (Fiery Road/Trouble on Trouble) together with the historic fanzine Fractal Press. They performed at various clubs in Athens and Thessaloniki, as well as at the Antiracist festival of Athens. The following year, their first album was released on CD and double LP (Thee Holy Strangers) with 12 original compositions, through Labyrinth of Thoughts/the Lab Records and with the support of Merlin's Music Box. The album was accompanied by a video clip (Fiery Road) directed by Γρηγόρη Πανόπουλου. In 2017 the German channel Arte TV featured them with an hour-long special.

Their current lineup is: Φλώρα Ιωαννίδη, vocals, Αλέξης Καλοφωλιάς (Alex K), voice, guitar, Κλέων Αντωνίου, electric and acoustic guitar, Ανδρέας Λάγιος, bass, Κώστας Χρυσόγελος, drums, percussion.
