The The Fullbug are pushing forward with their recording career! The band from Israel released the album 'In The Red', a record with six tracks and an intense hard rock character.
Influenced by classic hard rock bands like Van Halen, Guns N' Roses, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath
The The Fullbug, officially known as Project Revival, are a Hard rock band based in Tel Aviv. After years of taking part in various bands on the Israeli music scene, Lavy (vocals, guitars), Nadav (guitars) and Jessi (drums), decided they would try, at least once in their lives, to write one good rock song, only to discover they actually can't! But the guys decided they wouldn't give up on this endeavour…
They are influenced by classic hard rock bands like Van Halen, GNR, Aerosmith, Black
Sabbath and are big fans of southern rock. The band's aim is to write guitar-driven songs that would break hearts and melt faces! After being knocked about for a few years trying to find members they could stand as equals, the guys realised they can only tolerate the presence of themselves and no one else!
The band's debut Ep, "Black hole syndrome, released in 2018, was an independent production and is packed with heavy riffs and melodic choruses, ranging from upbeat tempo to big ballads. All of this within a clean Rock'n'Roll atmosphere. In 2021 the band released "Dying Breed, the first song from their second EP "In The Red“.
A band with an excellent sound
The The Fullbug are a band that has tamed the classic Hard Rock sound. The trio, even though they play without a bassist, seem to have found their balance, so that the tracks fill out just right. Their sound is their strong suit. It gives the tracks that classic 80s vibe, without getting stuck there. The production on the EP has added plenty of elements and given the tracks a more modern character.
Editor's Choice: 'Long Way Down'
The song that stood out for us on Fuzzy Hound from the EP 'In The Red‘ is the ‘Long Way Down‘. With powerful riffs that stand out and a sound that has something of Slash about it, it's one of the finest tracks on the collection and will definitely get stuck in your head! Especially at the solo section, which builds up in a perfect way.
In conclusion
The The Fullbug is an outfit with a lot going for it. Elements that touch on the Hard Rock era while keeping an eye on more modern times. This way they manage to create a combination that, while carrying strong traces of the Rock Heroes era, avoids repeating the shortcomings of that time. The result is 'In The Red', an EP that puts the band's name out there on the music scene in the best possible way.
