If so, then simply listen to the newest album by Stelios Ventas titled "Badass". With these tracks as your vehicle, let yourself be carried away to the best melodies the American sound has to offer.
Through 9 rock, authentic tracks and a wonderful cover, Ventas returns to the classic rock sound.
Through his own creative lens, he offers an album that confirms why this sound will never grow old. With a clear preference for the American school of rock and bluesy ideas, Ventas creates and presents his own version, adding his own little stone to this rock revival climate of recent years. Through ten rock stories about human relationships, dead ends, self-awareness and redemption. The most characteristic example of the album, which confirms all the above and immediately gives a good picture of the record's sound, is the track "Love" in which Ventas draws direct inspiration from the great ZZ Top and composes a track in their mold, carefully avoiding outright copying.
And while "Love" is inspired by southern blues/rock, others like "Lost On Me" and "Promised Land" move in the musical direction that rock set in the '80s.
The most characteristic example of all, however, is the album's opening track, "A Matter of Principle" which not only gives a really great first impression of the record, but is also a good glimpse into the musical past and the influences that built the musical profile of Stelios Ventas! It's a combination of ideas, with the song split between the '70s and '80s, while there were also ideas from the '90s and grunge.
The tenth and final song on the record is "Lianohortaroudia", the cover I mentioned above and, as you've probably figured out, it's a rock rendition of the well-known traditional piece. I don't think I need to say much here, since it's pretty well known by now that Greek traditional music and rock- and metal- fit together perfectly and always create an excellent result.

A journey that starts on the other side of the Atlantic and ends up in Thrace, with rock as the vehicle.
The Athenian rocker Stelios Ventas, then, recently released his third recording effort, titled "Badass" and invites us on a journey that starts on the other side of the Atlantic and ends up in Thrace, always with rock as the vehicle. It's a lively and intense rock album that I can't help but recommend.
