A few words about the band
The Sedate Illusion is a band created by Βαγγέλη Κακαρούγκα (former member of Equal Vector and Kinetic) and consists of Τάσο Κιμπιζή (guitars), Βαγγέλη Γκλαβίνα (bass) and Ανδρέα Αλαμάνο (drums). It started in 2004 as a project made up solely of Βαγγέλη Κακαρούγκα and in 2015 it took on its complete form. After 5 completed releases, their new self-titled album is ready! It's split into two EPs, due to the nature of the songs.
The first EP «Time is not the End» seems to lean into more "progressive" territory with more upbeat and easy-listening songs. The second EP «Black Untold», is darker and more depressive, carrying a strong sense of loneliness and the fear of dying or getting lost in the chaotic abyss of anxiety and anguish. The album also includes the single «Stars».
