An atmospheric album with plenty going on

'The War Is Near' is a collection of really lovely compositions. Listening to it, you can travel through the landscapes created by Πέτρος's music and that of his collaborators. What characterizes the music of the record is the creation of many musical layers. Various instruments engage in different melodies and manage to create a multifaceted sound. The tracks sometimes get louder, sometimes softer. But they never lose their atmospheric quality. A significant role in this is played by where the vocals are placed, which weave into the melody and become part of it.

Editor's Choice: 'Lobotomy'

The track we singled out from the record is 'Lobotomy'. What impresses the listener is the multiple rhythms and the shifts in tempo. Otherwise, the track repeats its musical motifs, creating a musical vertigo. Enjoy it!
