The Brazilian Oyster present us with a new single. The track titled 'Phoenix‘ has an intense punk rock character.
With a punk rock vibe!
The ‘Phoenix‘ is the third single released in 2022 by Oyster. With bass and drums exuding frenzy, the song tries to give a strong and cheerful touch. The lyrics emphasize resilience against those unluckier moments of our lives. It's that sound that helps us forget our troubles. While life knocks us down, we put a wide smile on our faces and make it clear that we'll always come out on top: «Still I Rise».
The Oyster is a punk rock band formed in 2021 in Florianópolis, Brazil. The quartet, formed by Gui Guedes (bass), Carol Tirloni (vocals), Fernando Baggio (guitar) and Diego Rapoport (drums). Their main references are bands like Bad Cop Bad Cop, Not on Tour, The Interrupters, Bad Religion, Face to Face among others. The group found in its own compositions a way to give an outlet to its truths, aligning speed and energy with a pinch of humour and a critical view of the world around us.
