DVD Review: London to Vegas, Def Leppard
A detailed review of the newest DVD from Def Leppard. London to Vegas makes us pine for the 80s! There's no doubt that Def Leppard are one of the greatest bands in the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame of all time.
By Dimitris (Bari) Polyzois

They were born in the era of Hair Bands (or a new wave of British heavy metal, if you prefer). If you've ever been a fan of these legendary British rockers, their latest concert Blu-ray / DVD / CD, London to Vegas, is for you. The band offers hours of music you'll probably end up belting out loud in your living room!

On the first Blu-ray you'll see the band in concert at their home turf in London. In December 2018, the band played their pièce de résistance, Hysteria, in full at the O2 Arena. Of course, that only accounts for about an hour's worth of material. So the band keeps going for another hour or so with a collection of extra songs from before and after that release.
But the biggest showstopper has to be the other Blu-ray. That one was filmed during the band's 2019 Artist-in-Residency at the Planet Hollywood theatre in Las Vegas. The Residency shows are quite the spectacle. They built stages that go way beyond what's practical for a day-to-day setup. One such example is the massive video wall behind the band and the multi-stage setup.
The band even breaks out some classic material that had never been performed on any tour before!
With 28 songs, this show takes a huge dive into the Def Leppard catalogue. What's more, the band even breaks out some classic material that had never been performed on any tour before! We really enjoyed the acoustic performance of a few songs on the second stage.
There are also documentaries, and the collection comes with a 40-page hardcover book, as well as a CD of the concerts. Fans will love some of the extra product bundles also available at the Def Leppard store. This is a massive treat for any Def Leppard fan. It's certainly a safe bet that it'll provide hours and hours of relief. We dare say it'll help you avoid a bit of hysteria (Hysteria)!
