Lazytrains live at Κύτταρο (December 10)
Lazytrains are gearing up for a huge party on Friday, December 10 at Κύτταρο! They'll be presenting their new album. Get ready for a blues rock party at Κύτταρο! On Friday, December 10, Lazytrains will present their new record, in an evening packed with music!
By Dimitris (Bari) Polyzois
Active in the country's blues scene for the past few years, with appearances at music venues and festivals in and outside Athens, Lazytrains, defying the times, keep on writing, playing music and dreaming of a world where money doesn't buy happiness, a world where art brings people together instead of being pushed to the margins.. A musical fellowship whose members come from fairly diverse musical backgrounds and aesthetic references.
Through the lens of music
These differences seem to converge on common ground
within the blues family, incorporating elements of garage, rock 'n' roll, swing, jazz, funk, soul, but also the occasional …excursion into the realm of creative noise!
In their live shows they lean towards extroversion, dancing, forging channels of connection with the audience and –if at all possible– communion. They've appeared at the 9.84 festival at Τεχνόπολη in Γκάζι celebrating the station's 25th anniversary, at festivals like "Hard as a Rock festival", "B fest", "Αναψυκτήριο τα ωραία Εξάρχεια", at the "European Music Day" in Νάξος, and they also took part in the film "Κύκλος Εμμονής".
On Friday, December 10, they take the stage at Κύτταρο and invite us to their own "celebration", presenting material from their 1st – self-titled – album "The Lazytrains" !!
