Chasing Dreams
In their nineteen years on the road, the Κυνηγοί Ονείρων have played major stages in Athens and the provinces and have taken part in numerous Festivals. They have collaborated with notable composers and artists. Names such as Θάνος Μικρούτσικος, Αντώνης Μιτζέλος, Θοδωρής Βλαχάκης (Magic de Spell), Γιάννης Παπανικολάου (Diviner, Rock-n-Roll Children) have shared the same stage as the Κυνηγοί.
Nineteen years rich in discography and creativity, packed with heavy/power guitars, atmospheric and symphonic keyboards, a dynamic rhythm section and vocal melodies influenced by European and American heavy/power, with operatic elements, narrations and choral parts.
The Κυνηγοί Ονείρων are: (Θοδωρής Γεωργόπουλος – vocals, Βίκυ Λαζάρου – vocals, Τάκης Κούκος – guitars, Νίκος Κλιτσίκας – guitars, Νίκος Γατομάτης – bass, Μενέλαος Λασκαρίδης – drums)
Μαύρα Ρόδα
The band has managed to make significant strides, writing songs known for their "hard" sound, the atmosphere they conjure up, and at times for their socially-conscious and poetic lyrics. But their most defining trait is their high-energy live shows on many stages across Piraeus and Athens.
In 2016 they released their first record titled Ανώριμες Συνήθειες. At the same time, sometime in 2022 their new release is expected, titled ''Σκαλοπάτια Στο Κενό".
In their current lineup they consist of the following: Μαρίνος Σοφίου - vocals, lead guitar (2014-present), Γεράσιμος Ανδρέου – rhythm guitar (2018-present), Αλέξανδρος Κωλέττης – bass (2020-present), Δημήτρης Σπυράκης – drums (2018-present).
