"Guns n' Roses | 22.07.23| OAKA Stadium | Athens, Greece"

With the thermometer hitting high temperatures, OAKA Stadium Athens filled up with people wanting to enjoy the legendary band Guns n' Roses. Anticipation was huge given the band's history and journey. With their previous gig in Greece being quite a few years back, the crowd had been gearing up for a night that would stay etched in everyone's memory. 

A once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Going as a family along with my 10 and 11-year-old daughters, I expected us to soak up as much as we could from this delightful night. After all, this was a fantastic gig that will surely stay in our minds and will surely remain indelible in our kids' memories too. Even with the years having gone by, the band members' energy remains top-notch. 

What can one say about Axl. Age has certainly affected his vocal chops quite a bit, but he remains amazing and full of energy. Duff , an inseparable member of the band with his own tone and flavour, also fantastic! And what can we even say about one of the best guitarists in the world, Slash, who was also celebrating his birthday. There are no words to describe the melodies he pulled out of that electric guitar.

Everything we experienced was a huge and moving experience.

To have right in front of you, to hear and to watch the playing and energy of this massive rock group. It was unique and even more impressive than what I expected. I went back to my carefree teenage years and that was something magical, but what enchanted me even more was noticing 3 generations there in the stadium! All together, singing and dancing.
