Elkapath: New single 'Black Spiders' from their self-titled album

The Synthetic Gothic Metal band hailing from Gloucester, United Kingdom, have unveiled a new single. The track titled 'Black Spiders', is included on their self-titled album.

The Elkapath recently recorded a 10-track album called 'Black Spiders’ in collaboration with Symmetric Records. The video accompanying the eponymous song was made in collaboration with the company Loki Films.

The mix and production of the album was done by Bob Katsionis (ex Firewind, Outloud) and it's expected to be released on Halloween night. The band is gearing up for their upcoming shows and for the release of new music videos for future releases.

A few words about the band

The band is made up of Carla Elkapath, Trevor England, Marios Karaisaridis and Chris Jones. Their main influences are bands like The Prodigy, The Birthday Massacre, Nine Inch Nails and Korn. Even though they've only been active since 2019, they've got a collective 10 years of experience playing gigs all over the United Kingdom with various bands.

The first story of the tale is the title track "Black Spiders"

Back in 2004 a creepy little doll named miss Carla discovered that when she sang, she could hypnotize people into becoming submissive little dolls like herself who would jump around frantically, doing whatever she commanded. And so, she spread her hypnotic power even further. Her desire to control the world was huge, so she made bewitching, dark and twisted music to spread across the entire earth.

As the years went by little Carla was left alone and was losing her power. So she decided to find the most twisted and darkest puppet who could help her spread her darkness more than ever. Chaotic Chris took control first to spread his rhythm. Then came Trevor Terribe, who with his bass would bring earthquakes to the whole world. Then came Master Marios, who with his distorted guitar would crush the will of anyone who stood before him.

Her plan worked and she felt her power growing once again. They played night and day until one day a terrible virus spread across the entire earth, killing most of her creepy army. Her power weakened once more. This didn't faze little Karla. She knew what had to be done. She had to make the music darker and creepier. In just 14 months she created ten mystical sounds that helped wipe out the virus and her darkness reigned once more.
