We listened to the self-release album of Crosson, Live at Orpheum. The Australian artist's album comes to round out the Live experience.

To kick things off, Rock n' Roll Love Affair shook up the stagnant waters of the Glam Rock/Metal scene, both in the band's homeland of Australia, and subsequently on a global level. The story continues with Crosson from our very own Jason Crosson releasing Live at Orpheum. This is an incredible live album, recorded and filmed at the Orpheum in Australia.

The Greek-descended Jason Crosson proves to be a fearsome frontman, way beyond just a singer and songwriter. He's truly fantastic at what he does and takes us back to the days of KISS and Motley Crue!! Flanked by two gorgeous girls doing backing vocals, and also choreographing every track superbly, he manages to captivate us with his full-bodied, sturdy rock!

The band isn't new, but after 3 albums the time came to show us their live side. This happened right in the middle of the pandemic, while they couldn't play live shows due to restrictions. The album consists of best-of material spiced up with fantastic covers of the legendary Queen and ABBA!
The material generates plenty of good vibes and with its liveliness it fires us up, sweeping us along to sing along and get into the groove with tracks like the singles Everyone's a Star, I Wanna Be Japanese and Weak at the Knees.
In conclusion
It's easy to tell the album has undergone some studio polishing, but that doesn't take anything away from the band's worth, since on stage they deliver a real showcase. On the contrary, combined with the excellent visuals, it helps transport the fan to the front rows of Crosson's live show, a band we'd really, really love to finally see in our neck of the woods!
