Gig: Lazy Man's Load, Bent By Sorrow, Leftover Bullets | 12.05.23

A year after their last headline show they're back at Piraeus Club Academy on Friday May 12th. The aim is a highly promising headline show that will serve as the closing chapter of the 'All Hat no Cattle' era. Joining them are the explosive Bent by Sorrow and the disruptive Leftover Bullets. A first-ever preview of material from their upcoming second album, visual additions and more are just some of the surprises the band has in store. With their eyes fixed on this summer, buzzing with anticipation for their appearance at RockWave Festival, they promise a chaotic night.

Lazy Man's Load

Lazy Man's Load (aka LML) were founded in early 2017 and, wasting no time, released their first single Video Clip titled "Start Breathing" at the end of that summer. The following year they immediately released another single Video Clip titled "Persian Mistress", which hit the music scene in January 2018.

Next came the release of their debut album titled "All Hat No Cattle" on July 2nd, 2021, released via Sleaszy Rider SRL, while shortly after they presented a video clip for the track "In For The Kill", "Gomorrah" and "Hot As A 2$ Pistol". Now Lazy Man's Loadhave happily wrapped up the recording and production of their second album, the title of which will be announced very soon.

THE STORY:

The Lazy Man's Load tell stories of their main character (Lazy Man). Lazy Man and his book record his own stories, stories that anyone might run into in their everyday life, but also stories about logic. All of this takes place in swamps and deserts of a post-apocalyptic dystopia, a vibe that heavily shapes the music of Lazy Man's Load (LML).

The Music:

The music is made up of a blend of Heavy Metal/Southern/Hard Rock elements, mid-half tempo rhythms, dark melodies and aggressive vocals.

The Bent By Sorrow with ten years of history behind them and plenty of notable lives in Greece and abroad, are gearing up to strike again. After their blistering shows in December at Fuzz club alongside NILE, plus their appearance next to Domination inc. at Gagarin, they'll be back on stage once more.

Right now, while recording their highly anticipated new album, they're stepping out of the studio for a one-off show built around human will and the power of the spirit, to share bits of their new material — without leaving out their older tracks either. The uncompromising Alternative/groove metal band from Athens will hit Piraeus academy club on May 12th, for a night where everyone gets to be the star!

Opening Act : Leftover Bullets

The Thessaloniki-based Leftover Bullets touch down in Athens on the back of their successful Live in the co-capital alongside Lazy Man's Load!

Heavy rockers LB recently dropped the first single/video (No majesty) off their upcoming 3rd album titled "The Flower", due out mid-Spring. The band was formed in 2013 and released their first album (Virtue & Vice) in December 2016 and their 2nd (Tell mama we're doing ok) in April 2020. This is the 4th time LB will play Athens.
