Cargo Lift: New single titled 'Prophecy'

The best way to do that, of course, is to listen to the new song by Cargo Lift. The band, following their album titled 'Then', presented the single track titled 'Prophecy‘.

'Phophecy': A track from the album 'Then'

The 'Then' is a really great record. The band has managed to combine, in an incredible way, traditional elements of Hard Rock with more modern musical touches.

The Cargo Lift have incredible elements in their sound. You know the expression 'You can't teach and old dog new tricks'; Well then, Cargo Lift have taken classic Hard Rock and 'taught' it plenty of new tricks. The sound has this epicness. The kind that gets you started on air-guitar (or an actual one if you've got one)!

And the new tricks?! Lots of dynamics. Lots of shifts within the tracks. The introduction of atmospheric elements and riffs that add other colours. The sound breaks away from the classic, tremble-drenched tone of the 90s. The many rhythm changes also give a progressive style. And it all ties together with the vocals. Here, as I mentioned earlier, Cargo Lift break away from the trend of the times (which is heading towards more Stoner Rock territory) and use a clearer voice with plenty of low end frequencies and a good dose of grit.

The prophecy that catches the eye

'Prophecy' is the sixth track on the record. It's a darker song, with quite a bit of power and a video clip that raises eyebrows. The only sure thing is that musically, it will surprise you!
