From the combined lethal forces of Kristian Capuozzolo (bass/vocals), Rob Favotto (guitar) and Nate Barnes (drums) came the birth of Burn The Highway. This is a dynamic, high-energy band that could power entire cities. Lyrically, it'll take you on a cinematic journey, and musically, on a road race where you're the winner. This is a war-machine of a band that takes no prisoners, ready to unload its cargo worldwide.
'This is a pirate song!'
The song came about when Kristian heard the main riff and immediately said, "This is a pirate song". Then the lyrics flowed easily, describing a whole pirate story of plunder.

The middle instrumental section needed something more, so we added Canon shot sounds. The songs are very fairytale-like and we wanted to take the listener on a journey. The cinematic clip was shot by Catmari Productions (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), the location was a remote beach on the south coast at Jervis Bay. "It was a full day of filming and we managed to get it done before the rain started“.
