On his new single “Ο ΜΛΚΣ ΤΗΣ ΧΡΟΝΙΑΣ”, MAZOHA joins Marios Davelis of FUNDRACAR for a frantic piece of electro-punk — an ode, as they put it, to human foolishness, to our collective delusions, and to the charm of getting everything wrong.
The release notes throw everything into one frame: Kanye West meets Dimitris Mitropanos, Molly Nilsson wanders among piglets rolling in mud, and Thessaloniki sits one verse away from San Francisco.
The song is dedicated, in the band’s words, “to the exes, the currents, the politicians, to everyone who swallows anything whole, to the bosses, to the know-it-alls” — and above all to our own beloved little selves.
“Ο ΜΛΚΣ ΤΗΣ ΧΡΟΝΙΑΣ” is out on all digital platforms via Inner Ear. Listen here.
