Eazy Sleazy: A track about the lockdown
'Open the windows, open the doors! It's gonna get wild!'. Eazy Sleazy sounds like it could've been written by our grandad and uncle! Is there really an ideal song to describe a situation?! Depends on the situation, of course! Especially when we're talking about a pandemic.

The new song by Mick Jagger and Dave Grohl, at least comes close to describing the Coronavirus quarantine. And its title?! Eazy Sleazy!
Everything you love has gone a bit… to hell! This has been going on for a year now. Nights out at bars, sex with people you just met, the cinema, concerts.
Mick Jagger and Dave Grohl released a song with lyrics about the past year titled "Eazy Sleazy". The song seems funny. But when you think about who's involved, things change.
Dave Grohl, the handsomest man in rock, who dropped yet another banger of a Foo Fighters album this year. The man who's been walking the halls of rock royalty ever since his pedal hit the drums of Nirvana back in 1990. The musician who overcame the tragic death of that band and moved on to an equally successful, universally beloved band.
On the other hand, Mick Jagger. Was this his idea just to stir things up? Did the record label do it for shock value? Who knows?!

If you haven't heard it, "Eazy Sleazy" is a song that could've been written by your dad after he retired six months earlier than planned because of COVID!
In the end, the cost of the situation we're living in keeps becoming clearer. We shouldn't be living in a world where Mick Jagger sings about TikTok. Even so, you get the feeling the two men have done an excellent job. It's like watching two people who've been collaborating in the same studio.
It's a charity video.
As Jagger himself writes under the video on YouTube. "I wanted to share this song I wrote about the prospect of coming out of lockdown, with the necessary optimism. Thanks to Dave Grohl for his contribution on drums, bass and guitar."
But in the end the message is so clear! So innocent! It's just a guy with his guitar who's gotten a bit bored during lockdown. He recruited his buddy – who just happens to be another superstar – to jam. Ultimately, this song is the latest addition to the list of crazy things that have happened over the last 12 months.
Either way, we're going to enjoy it!
