By Dimitris (Bari) Polyzois
Things continued with Taras Zemskyi joining the band and taking the bass into his hands, and drummer Illia Ivashkevich also joining the band later in 2022, completing the line up. So with Wave.X now fully assembled as a unit, they released their new single, titled 'Pierrot (My Sad Prince)‘!
This single is called "Pierrot (My Sad Prince)" and it's an independent release that brings to the surface a band worth listening to and keeping an eye on, because from what it looks like, they're going to be turning heads in the near future!
In just a few minutes, Wave.X show us their character. They show us their musical palette that gets straight into your head and your heart through a single you're going to fall in love with from the moment you hit play until its very last second. The band offers listeners a metal sound that combines distorted guitar riffs, melodic solos, and clean female vocals that we're sure you'll get hooked on.
There's something special about this vocal journey that comes out of Hanna's mouth. It brings something serene, it brings something dynamic. It's catchy and reminds us of something that could easily be considered capable of raising high the banner of metal and melodic metal music. And that's a trait you rarely find in a new band, let alone when it carries through into the arrangement and the overall result, which comes across as more impressive than we expected!
A truly excellent job has been done on the single "Pierrot (My Sad Prince)" and those who love good melodic metal really need to hear this song!
A song that soars even in the details, which bring an atmosphere reminiscent of the TV series X-files, where the band seems to take on this mysterious aura and carry it forward, speaking of pain, suffering and love. Honestly, a distinctive approach and aesthetic.
So don't miss the new single from Wave.X “Pierrot (My Sad Prince)", because it's a track that once you hit play, there's no turning back! You'll simply love it. Well done Wave.X!
