The Fhedesh is a Dominican-American DJ and electronic music producer based in Los Angeles, California. He first appeared on the LA night and after-hours scene playing in warehouses across Southern California. Following his single, he's now here with his new album "Warning Signs". The record is self released and is available from November 30th!
About the music
This album consists of 9 tracks and in their music we encounter the temperament of Fhedesh. This element serves as a source of inspiration drawn from the practices of vampirism and dark theatrical expression. At the same time, it evokes a sense of evil, as well as an elegance that's as sophisticated as it is provocative, while also exploring the concepts of immortality and lavish living.
Hitting play, you feel the artist's creative vein flooding the record and reaching your ears, giving you a sense of the fascinating world that Fhedeshdraws a parallel to. You feel as if you're standing right beside him as he creates his music, right there with him at Drac'Haus, the No.1 underground gothic club in Los Angeles, which he runs.
So elements of Witch House Experimental, Trap & Electronic Music come at you, oozing a darkness and a hardcore vibe that feels like it's being forced upon you!
From a very different angle
It's really a very interesting musical approach, one that's rare to find out there. Personally, it shows me that a mix of musical education and risk-taking can produce an amazing result, especially when it's crafted flawlessly. And here it is. Fhedesh seems flawless! He's so well organized in what he does and it shows on the record from start to finish. There's not a single moment where you'd say he lost the plot! On the contrary, the more the tracks go by and the closer the record gets to its end, the more it seems to bloom into something even better!
Especially when we see the collaboration of Fhedesh with Sin Savio on the track "Slash Slash", we understand the depth of the record and the technical skill both musicians possess. They collaborate flawlessly and give 110% of their powers, with the result being simply astounding! Among the best tracks we came across on the album, along with the title track "Warning Signs", but also others like "Devoutnyct”, “Medical Asylum" and "Haus Of Hell”.
The new album by Fhedesh “Warning Signs", is truly one of the most interesting works someone can listen to in this genre for 2021. Especially if you're a fan of this genre, trust me, you'll love it! It won me over, it fired me up, and it gave me a "Warning Sign" that Fhedesh is a multi-talented musician!
