Formed amid the pandemic
The band was formed amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Unholy Harakiri brings together members of two underground metal bands from Brazil, Yukio Hara and Raphael Gonçalves (Ex-Colwire) and Maikon Campioni (Athimia). The band's proposal is to reinvent the metal scene by blending heavy weight, low tunings and a bit of Asian culture. All this, together with futuristic themes and cyberpunk.

In December 2020, the first single "Rakuin" is released via Coffin Joe Records (Facebook, Instagram). It includes the opening track "Stigma (Rakuin)" and "Bloody Path" accompanied by an Anime music video with scenes from the anime Berserk (Kentaro Miura) 1997, illustrating the song's theme.
With this debut, the band secured good numbers on their media and streaming profiles, and is now getting ready for the release of a series of singles, clips and a full album in the second half, by the end of 2022. Afterwards they will kick off their launch with some touring.

The aesthetic continues to draw inspiration from Japanese art.
Always with a greater sample of the bleak outlook, dealing with an inner vision of a soul in decomposition, subjugated to an endless terror within the twilight of its agonizing oblivion. Elements which the new single 'Penumbra' covers.Penumbra‘.
