The Silent Wedding
The The Silent Wedding have been making their presence felt, not only on the domestic front, but also in the global metal music firmament, since the day they were formed. The top-notch melodic / lyrical heavy metal they represent has, over the years, brought them on stage alongside titans such as Saxon, Fates Warning, Firewind, Iced Earth, Epica, Annihilator, Warrel Dane and others, while their European excursions led them to 5 tours together with Threshold, Maiden United and Voodoo Six. After the release of their recent album titled "Ego Path" (which received an excellent response from both audience and critics), a series of shows in Greece and abroad followed.
Destiny Calls
The Destiny Calls formed by four former members of Flying Mercury in January 2024, with founder/guitarist Σπύρος Φουσέκης (also Silver R.I.S.C., ex-Danger Angel), bassist Λουκάς Αδαμόπουλος, keyboardist Γιώργος Γεωργίου (also Innerwish, Rock’n’roll Children, Fortress Under Siege) and drummer Πέτρος Παπαπέτρος (also Vital Path), now joined by the excellent vocalist Αγγελική Ροσσολάτου, known for her appearances with Rock ‘N’ Roll Children, the Gary Moore Tribute live show, and her recordings with Vital Path. We'll catch them on the stage of Piraeus Academy!
Beyond the River
Too basic for progers or too prog for metalheads? That's the question the debuting Beyond The Riverare trying to answer. The quintet from West Athens marries traditional and modern metal sound, blending atmospheric passages with extreme metal explosions in equal measure. In their own words, they want the crowd to "headbang in 7/8 without even realising it." Beyond The River were founded in 2021 and are currently working on their first recording.
