The Silent Wedding – Album Release Show @Temple
Silent Wedding are gearing up for one hell of an Album Release Show this Friday, April 15th, at Temple Athens. Time to rock out! Back on stage for Silent Wedding!
By Dimitris (Bari) Polyzois
The metal band will hit the stage at Temple for the Album Release Show of their latest record, titled 'Ego Path'. All of this on Friday, April 15.
Making their presence felt
The The Silent Wedding have been making their presence felt, not only on the domestic front, but also in the global metal music firmament, since 2008, when they were formed. Their melodic heavy metal has, on occasion, brought them on stage alongside titans such as Saxon, Fates Warning, Firewind, Iced Earth, Epica, Annihilator, Warrel Dane. At the same time, their European steps have led them on tours together with Threshold, Maiden United and Voodoo Six.
Their brand-new, third full-length album in a row, "Ego Path” (4th if you count their EP too), continues at the same quality standards as its predecessors. It raises the bar even higher in terms of songwriting, performances and production. The band itself seems more ready than ever for the next big step in their already remarkable journey.
On Friday, April 15th they will present their new recorded work live on the stage of Temple. They promise us a memorable night, full of emotional highs, much like their outstanding material.
Opening the show will be Athenian thrash metallers Simplefast, who, having released the excellent album "Eternal" back in 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic, never got the chance to present it live to the Greek audience. Now they're gearing up to bare their teeth once again in a live setting, and to win over the crowd with their melodic, uncompromising heavy thrash.
