A few words about Στέφανος
The Στέφανος Λιάμος was born in Thessaloniki in 1971. He took his first guitar lessons from his father and started writing songs as a kid. Later, as a teenager with friends, he started taking part in duets with έντεχνα and rock groups.
He studied Advanced Theory, while also attending lessons in Jazz Harmony and Guitar, Classical Guitar and symphony orchestra arrangement.
He has also taught guitar at conservatories in Thessaloniki, as well as giving private lessons. Besides guitar, he plays bouzouki (6-string – 8-string) and oud.
As a musician he has performed for many years live in Thessaloniki and abroad, playing Greek music (έντεχνα and rebetiko) and foreign music (rock, blues, jazz standards). Alongside his musical activity, he worked as a bank employee for 20 years. For the last 5 years he has been living and working in Austria.
In September 2021 he released his first single ‘Επιδέξιοι Κώλοι’, from a song cycle of his with socio-political lyrical content.
