St. Aurora – ‘Falling’: New single from the EP ‘They All Remember’

The five-piece alternative rock band bursts onto the scene with their debut single, ‘Falling (Just Another Way to Fly)’, from the EP ‘They All Remember’. Hailing from Helsinki, Finland, they enjoyed great success with their first track, which immediately landed on a large number of the much-coveted Spotify playlists.

A series of powerful songs

The highly dynamic debut single was followed by the heavy second single titled “Rejects of Society” and then by “They All Remember“, which showcased the quintet's more emotional and sensitive side. These songs pay tribute to the band's influences and reflect the essence of St. Aurora, whose sound is deeply rooted in punk and alternative rock. The quintet's EP, which is also called “They All Remember” was released on May 28, 2021.  

“The band's debut EP embodies the spirit of punk, alternative and rock music – each song is like a container of a different colour of paint”. 

“Although each track on the EP is in some way different from the others, they all share a common groove that gives away that they come from the same band. The EP contains elements of each musician in the lineup, and all of these combine into a final result that serves the band's evolution. I explained the paint-container allegory to someone – each song is like an independent container with its own colour, there are different colours for each container, and these colours serve as the base for the upcoming record we're going to paint”, muses the band's singer, Nile Nilsson.

“Taking the overall picture into account, I like these songs. Releasing this self-funded EP was an incredible experience for me and I believe that with the momentum it creates, the upcoming EP will be even stronger“, sums up Nile.
