Going through an unthinkably dark period, where one disaster follows another, four acts join forces and invite you to a concert for the creatures that live alongside us, teaching us how to love. This is the Shelter Me Festival which will take place at Θέατρο Ρεματιάς Χαλανδρίου, on 30.09.23. ALL PROCEEDS from ticket sales will go towards supporting the Φιλοζωικού Συλλόγου Αιγιάλειας "Τα Φιλαράκια". All this thanks to the selfless contribution of all the artists, Fairplay and 123tickets.gr, the Φιλοζωικής Ομάδας της Σχολής Μωραΐτη and the kind sponsorship of venue and equipment from the Δήμο Χαλανδρίου.

Bound Affairs

The night is opened by Bound Affairs with an acoustic set. They're made up of a group of diverse musicians with a long history in the scene, drawing on the music of the Beatles and Bowie, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, Paul Weller and the Doors. All of this to invite us on a musical journey of connection and communication to an unknown destination.

Dance with Invisible Partners

Next up are Dance with Invisible Partners who, just before the release of their 3rd album, are taking a break to turn our gaze inward. They themselves describe their music as a sensory tribute to the reality within reality, in an endless downward path tending towards the abyss. Often cinematic and always lyrical, against the backdrop of the wonderful trees of Ρεματιάς and the first autumn scents, they're expected to give us moments of metaphysical bliss.

Sebia

As night falls over Χαλάνδρι the tension will be rising… Sebia are an up-and-coming band that has sparked audience interest with their mix of grunge, prog, hard rock and metal elements through this year's release of their first record, Acceptance of Reality. With lyrics dealing with the confinement of the mind and people's difficulty expressing their emotions, they are the musical embodiment of the thinking behind Shelter Me as they conclude that the course of things changes through life's hardships, as long as we choose it. Amen.

The Buzz Dealers

Closing out the Shelter Me Festival at Θέατρο Ρεματιάς… It's warm, it's fuzzy, it's rock n' roll. The name of The Buzz Dealers leaves no room for misunderstanding. Since 2015 they've been dishing out equal doses of blues-rooted garage rock and pure R n' R energy. If bands like Arctic Monkeys and Queens of the Stone Age are your thing, get ready to add another one to the list. In short: dress comfortably, fill up your glasses and get ready for a wild party!
