Sexpyr – ‘Ανθρωποφάγοι’: Calling out society's wrongs.

Sexpyr has dropped a new single. The track titled 'Ανθρωποφάγοι' is a mirror held up to the ills of our times.

The Sexpyr returns with a new single track! Deeply influenced by the goings-on of everyday life, the 'Ανθρωποφάγοι' is food for thought. The fake image of social media, the power of speech and the possibility of anonymous criticism are at the center. Once again, the Greek Hip Hop artist takes aim at one of the deepest wounds of modern society.

Cannibalism as a term

Cannibalism is the term for the eating of one human being by another. This practice is still carried out today by members of social media tribes across various websites. The cannibalistic public, exploiting the total absence of any Legal Rights, cannibalizes for its own amusement, innocent and guilty, deviant and decent alike, as it pleases. All lumped into the same sack, the wheat with the chaff. A little job gets done and then everything's forgotten, and they digest the human-eaten ones with coca-cola within one to two days. Of course, all that has now vanished since we cannibalistic beings are being adequately fed with the victims of the war in Ukraine.

Where, one wonders, did all those issues that used to plague our daily lives go?

Did the bogeyman eat them up?

Where oh where did cancel culture go? With one Poutin will we

manage? I'm hungry!
