Phenomy – 'When The Darkness Comes': New single

The Lebanese thrash / groove metal titans Phenomy released their new album titled "Syndicate Of Pain", which came out on March 3rd, 2022, along with the terrifying animated video "Lead Me To My Throne". "Syndicate Of Pain" is a concept album about an asylum run by Dr. Anton Shuman, a mad scientist who manipulates criminals and patients labelled insane within his facility. The album later reveals that these patients aren't being cured at all, but are part of a much bigger and darker scheme, one that even Dr. Anton Shuman himself is deceived by. The album also includes the song " When The Darkness Comes ”.

Dr Shuman: "First came the experiments, then came the knowledge, and then came the power of possession and manipulation"

"I felt god-like, being able to create and destroy lives and matter. It became addictive, greed feeds the human soul and vanity makes them feel flawless. At some point we feel in control and indestructible, until we realise we're just a fragile heap of dust wandering around in the devil's lair. And you took advantage of it, you knew it would keep me hooked and you just sat there watching me dance like a puppet in your hands. Pulling off every trick and then taraaa voila, you won it all."
