New solo album from Dee Snider

He recently announced the official release date for his upcoming solo album, titled "Leave A Scar".

The follow-up to his last solo album "For The Love Of Metal" is set to drop on July 30th, according to the talented musician himself. The album will also be released through Napalm Records.

In a recent post on Twitter, Snider, who is incredibly active on his social channels, said the new album was made with Jamey Jasta. The new solo effort also includes a guest appearance from Cannibal Corpse frontman George Fisher, better known as Corpsegrinder.

When a fan tagged him in a tweet, reading: «@IAmJericho in my opinion, @deesnider making the transition from '80s Hair Metal to Modern Hardrock is a great move for him. I think Dee Snider fits really well into the modern Hardrock scene. He sings Modern Hardrock really beautifully».

Dee Snider, on the other hand, replied:

"Wait'll you hear my new album 'Leave a Scar'! Release date is July 30th on @NapalmRecords! Produced by @jameyjasta...again!"

In the past, the singer had been teasing fans about his upcoming effort, saying:

«There's trust, we know our direction, we know what works for Dee Snider and for this project, and we're just moving forward».

He himself described the record as "very heavy, but with some surprises that will thrill the fans", while also revealing that he worked with the same team that made "For The Love Of Metal". What's more, he once again sang Jasta's praises, saying among other things: «He's top-notch. He holds the keys. I trust the whole team, but whatever ideas come to the table, they get filtered through him first and he has to give his approval».
