On Saturday 22 November, in the historic basement of An Club (Facebook, Instagram) the Μisty Route officially bring down the curtain on their first album “Without A Trace“, celebrating at the same time their step into a new era and the upcoming album they have in the works. At their side, two much-loved bands of the Greek underground scene, with an admirable track record and an indelible musical stamp, Hidden In The Basement and Sevengill.

Misty Route
The Misty Route are an alternative metal band formed in 2019 and based in Athens. Their sound comes out of a blend of different musical influences, its main traits being atmosphere and escalating groove, harmoniously joining psychedelic rock touches with metal outbursts. The group consists of Λευτέρης Σαατσάκης on guitar and vocals, Γιώργος Κονόμης on bass and Κωνσταντίνος Καλούδης on drums.
After releasing 3 demo tracks in 2020, Misty Route put out their first full-length album, titled “Without A Trace”, in December 2021. The album was mixed by Αντώνης Κοντόζογλου at 9800 Studios in Egaleo, who also handled the final production together with Misty Route. Mastering was taken care of by Goran Finnberg at the AB mastering room in Sweden, who has previously worked with heavyweight names of the heavy sound such as Opeth, In Flames, Meshuggah, Arch Enemy, Soilwork, Hammerfall and Dark Tranquility.
With fresh experiences packed in their bags from recent powerful live appearances in Greece and abroad, Misty Route return raring to go to the AN Club stage, throwing a hearty musical party for all their old and new friends.
Hidden In The Basement
The Hidden in the Basement are a heavy rock band from Larissa. Formed in 2007, they have already carved out a quality, consistent course through the domestic underground scene, having released a demo and 3 full length albums. With shows all over Greece, Europe and Turkey, alongside big bands such as Sepultura, Karma to Burn, Orange Goblin, Burst, Clutch, Septic Flesh, Rotting Christ, Hidden in the Basement always get the most positive reviews for their live performances!
In 2025 the band is ready to release its 4th full length album!
Sevengill
The Sevengill are a post metal band from Athens. They formed in 2016 and in November 2022 released their first album, titled “Sea”, preceded by the release of an EP (Atem, 2019). They have shared the domestic underground — and not so underground — stages with various names, their support slots alongside Cult of Luna and Amenra in Greece standing out. Their music is characterised by minimalism and dynamism at once, and banks on the chemistry of the band's three members.
Influenced by the sound of Isis, Amenra and Giant Squid, they grapple with the awe and existential dread provoked by Nature and Death. Their second album is expected out in the coming months.
