From his very first days he had to go through surgeries, fighting battles no child should ever have to fight. This autumn his first major open-heart operation awaits; a difficult procedure with an enormous price tag. The Michelangelo Love Festival was born so that we can all stand by him, in the way we know best: through music.
On the stage of An Club, six bands from the Greek scene join their notes for the same cause:

The bands' response was moving: they gladly said yes without a second thought, proving that our scene knows how to show up where it's really needed.

The initiative and organisation of the festival were taken on by Jester Syndrome, with the support of Αn Club – without which the Michelangelo Love Fest it couldn't have happened – and the support of Harmonia PR.
All proceeds will go directly to little Michelangelo's family, with full transparency, to cover part of the cost of the operation and the hospital stay.

Πεθαίνουν Στο Τέλος
The Πεθαίνουν Στο Τέλος are an independent rock'n'roll outfit with Greek lyrics, formed in 2015 by members of older bands. They've released a self-titled EP on vinyl and a fair few singles/videos, and they've clocked up dozens of shows all over Greece. They've played festivals like Los Almiros, New Long Fest and Cretan Gunners Fest, but also alongside bands such as Nightstalker and Vodka Juniors. In 2024–25 they took part in the independent production Από Κάτω Φεστ, touring alongside Κροταλίας, Junkheart and Στράφι.
Κροταλίας
The Κροταλίας are a desert punk quartet from Athens. It's made up of members of bands from the Athens scene (Despite Everything, Wish Upon A Star , Bad Bid, Need). The band released a five-track 12” split LP with Junkheart titled ”Για μια θέση στον ήλιο” the 2016. Next came the first full length LP 12” titled “Ο τελευταίος Άνθρωπος στη Γη” in April of 2020. The latest release from Κροταλίας is the first single and video “Μια ανάσα μακριά” off the upcoming, second, record.
The Sexy Christians
The The Sexy Christians are a rock’n’roll band from Αθήνα. They made their debut in 2016 with the album “God Proudly Presents”, while it was 2019 followed by “Forbidden Fruit”, a power-pop concoction full of confessional lyrics and hard-hitting riffs. Their most recent album, “Original Sins” (2024), features 12 tracks with singles such as “We Don’t Like It” and “Fat Jirad”, confirming their inexhaustible energy and their own personal style.
Jester Syndrome
The Jester Syndrome were formed in Athens in 2020, bringing a sound that balances between light and dark, humour and reflection. They started out with the single “Falling Star” and their self-titled EP in 2021, followed up with the LP “Shape” and in December 2024 they released their new album “Dancing Shadows”. With every riff and every lyric, Jester Syndrome sweep you away into worlds that are emotional, surreal and at the same time darkly real.
Black Body Radiation
The Black Body Radiation are a post-punk quintet from Athens, active since 2015. Their sound balances between the dark intensity of post-punk and atmospheric shoegaze textures, with the current line-up having settled in 2020. After the first EP “Master of Yourself” (2015), the band presented the album “Burn the Cycle” in April 2024, marking a new creative direction.
Μαύρα Ρόδα
The Μαύρα Ρόδα are a Greek-language rock band formed in 2018. They consist of Μαρίνο Σοφίου (vocals/guitar), Γιάννη Κρητσιώτη (guitar), Αλέξανδρο Κωλέττη (bass) and Δημήτρη Σπυράκη (drums). Influenced by the electrified riffs of decades past, they set out to fuse them with Greek lyrics — structured and substantial — aiming both to take you on a journey and to make you think about social issues.
