A few words about the band
The Kosmogonia is a pagan folk metal band, based in Athens. The theme of their music revolves around Greek mythology and history as well as Greece's traditions. More specifically, the band tries to highlight themes that have to do with Ancient Greece and the pagan religion. The Kosmogonia came together as a band in 2015, and the genre back then was melodic death-thrash. They released their first demo in mid-2015 titled "Fallen Pegasus“.
In 2016 the band split up and reformed with its current members. This coincided with the shared decision to express their love for pagan folk music.
