The Hyperia are back with yet another record! The band from Vancouver released the album titled 'The Serpent's Cycle', which contains tracks with a strong thrash metal element. After the lyric video for 'Prophet Of Deceit‘ and their party anthem ‘Automatic Thrash Machine‘, the band delivered yet another musical blow!
The music video shows us a more serious side of the band, with a horror-themed clip full of magic, death and occult themes.
‘The Serpent’s Cycle‘ is a full album with 11 dynamic tracks. The main traits of the music are the powerful sound, the fast tempo and the vocals that crank up the intensity! For those who love old-school, classic thrash, this record is one you absolutely have to hear. But don't for a second think you'll be getting something old and worn-out! The band has managed to put its own personal stamp on the genre and cook up a genuinely interesting blend.
"The Serpent's Cycle" is as much an attempt to learn the ins and outs of our lives as it is about how repetition makes us better at what we do, to the point where breaking the pattern even a little can act as a spark for our own creativity.
And that's exactly what Hyperiapull off. They create the atmosphere and the backdrop to make you see, to make you discover whatever's hiding within their lyrics. To take you on a journey to an imaginary world. To make you scared. And in the end you too will be part of the ‘Serpent's Cycle’! It's worth a listen!
