Friday, 02.12.22, on the stage of six d.o.g.s (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) set up a date Guppy Fish with Hylas. The progressive rock / metal bands are gearing up for a powerful performance at the now-legendary music haunt.
Guppy Fish
The Guppy Fish are a four-piece progressive rock band from Athens that started in 2011. In 2014 they released their first EP "Constant Motion Of Vanity” and in 2020 their first full-length album “The Fall of Man”. Their sound gives off a distinct sense of many layers, with dynamic prog rock passages and dark atmospheric motifs that reinforce each composition. With influences ranging from Opeth and Porcupine Tree to King Crimson and Pink Floyd, “The Fall of Man”, 2nd best debut album of 2020 at the Progspace awards, drew the attention of both Greek and foreign press.
The Guppy Fish are:
Μανώλης Τζανουδάκης: Vocals / Keys
Konstantinos Kokkalos: Guitar / Vocals
Ξενοφών Τσαντήλας: Bass
Βαγγέλης Καρδαμίτσης: Drums
Hylas
The Hylas is a four-piece progressive post rock band from Athens, formed in 2015. Their first record “Athena" was released in September 2019. The inspiration for the album was the city of Athens, a place where people live surrounded by grey buildings and bitter orange trees. In their new material, they further explore the boundaries of their sound, experimenting with electronic elements and the music of the East.
