Exorcizphobia: New song titled 'Stuck Between Realities'
Exorcizphobia presented their newest song titled 'Stuck Between Realities'. A track that takes us back to the old days of Thrash Metal. And suddenly Thrash Metal! Headbanging! Long hair and pits!
By Dimitris (Bari) Polyzois

All these lovely things come to mind listening to the new song by Exorcizphobia, titled 'Stuck Between Realities'. A track that leaves huge promises for their last album 'Friend Of Lunacy’.
A Metal story
The band was formed in Trutnov, Czech Republic, in 2005 by Tomas Skorepa (guitar, vocals), Jan Erben (bass) and Jakub Vaclav (drums). This trio of young and passionate metalheads started rehearsing covers of their favourite bands, such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Metallica and Slayer. The second guitarist spot was filled by Josef Valkoun the following year.

During 2009, they decided to go into the studio. The result of these recordings was their first EP titled «Disease Inside». The following year brought a crazy and unforgettable story that happened at the Obscene Extreme Festival. Spike Cassidy, the guitarist of the American hardcore punk / crossover thrash pioneers and headliners of the event, D.R.I., couldn't play due to serious health problems. Skorepa was chosen as his replacement and played the entire show with them, right after an exhausting day of rehearsal.
This helped Exorcizphobia become more popular on the Czech metal scene, so they started appearing at the most famous events. Opening for Wehrmacht, Bonded By Blood and Lazarus A.D. definitely deserve a mention.
Quarantine: Endless opportunities for creation
The band worked on new material during the second part of the lockdown, due to the pandemic. The EP "Friend Of Lunacy" is the result of this effort. The EP was recorded at Davos Studio in April 2021, produced by Martin "Bilos" Bilek (Malignant Tumour, Just Wär, etc.). It was released digitally on July 22, 2021.
