Gig: Ninkasi, Alcestice, Minorfase | 21.3.25 | An Club

Ninkasi Ninkasi, returning to the An stage, Alcestice Alcestice, in their debut show, and Minorfase Minorfase, for the Athens stop of this year's tour, for a gig steeped in rock, metal and grunge vibes, with an emphasis on fresh original material!

Ninkasi

A fusion of grunge and punk rock, which they've dubbed grunge n' roll, is what we find in the sound of Ninkasi. Nirvana, Distillers, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, FooFighters, Iggy and Ramones are among the band's key influences. After the EP "30Something", they're bringing us their debut album. Recordings took place at Feedback studios. Mixing was handled by Dime St, while mastering is signed by Χάρης Ζουρελίδης. Illustration and graphic design for the album were done by Ματίνα Χατζή.

Alcestice

The Alcestice is a new rock band from Athens. Between October and July 2024, they started their first recording project, culminating in the release of the full-length record "Watch Me" on 14/07/2024 (Polyphoniki Records/ produced by Πέτρου Πετρόπουλου). The record has rock, punk and metal influences, while nevertheless trying to propose its own idiosyncratic way of approaching the songs. All this with a leaning towards theatricality, accompanied by three DIY video clips. The band is ready to pour out onto the stage in support of their first record, but also to move on to the next chapter of their discography.

Minorfase

The Minorfase warmer than ever, return to the Athens stage. Carrying in their suitcase their most recent, third full length album ”No Place To Rest” and plenty of picks from their whole discography. The Minorfase are without a doubt a very strong and hot card of the local music scene. They were brought to life in 2017 with the release of their first demo and then their first EP ‘’Thoughts’’. They immediately managed an explosive filtering of their influences that doesn't go unnoticed. Heavy rock style with deeply rooted southern grooves and dirty guitars. Vocals that take you quite 'high' are accompanied by Metal and Grunge rhythms with a particular emphasis on melody, and shape the band's distinctive and unique character.

Active with numerous appearances on the country's music scene, they have shared the stage with Saquatch, Planet of Zeus, Nightstalker, The Restoned, Potergeist, Black Hat Bones, Puta Volcano and others.
