Brighter Death Now, Raison d’être , Desiderii Marginis have a date with the Black Temple stage on Saturday 24 January.

Black Temple presents: Brighter Death Now, Raison d’être, Desiderii Marginis ( Cold Meat Industry festival – Sweden), have a date with the stage of Black Temple (Facebook, Instagram). On Saturday 24 January we'll have the honour of living through the Cold Meat Industry experience via three of its historic outfits. The CMI experience is one of those things where only if you've been through it before do you understand what you're about to be up against.
If it's your first time, "good luck". Three of the most important bands of the dark ambient industrial scene will haunt the congregation of the Black Temple. Before and between the live sets, dj Orion will conduct the ritual musical mystagogy.

Although the project has never strayed from its original vision, it's fair to say that Brighter Death Now have grown into one of the very few bands still flying the black flag of industrial music. True to his roots, Roger Karmanik still lives by the only law he can follow — the Law of NO.
Perhaps people ought to be more worried about this grumpy old nihilist. He has nothing left to lose or gain. His bare, dull feet carry on the one-man funeral procession through the cold and desolate Scandinavian landscape. His back turned to the world.

Raison d’être were formed in 1991 as a vehicle of expression aimed at self-realisation. Behind the project stands the highly respected and multi-talented sound artist Peter Andersson. For nearly three decades, across an enormous number of releases, raison d’être have been making music with overwhelming dark ambient, drone and industrial qualities, which have left an indelible mark on most listeners.
Raison d’être have grown into a top point of reference in the dark ambient genre and are one of the most famous, respected and influential artists in the field. The majority of their albums were released on the legendary Swedish label Cold Meat Industry.
Desiderii Marginis (Sweden)
Desiderii Marginis has been at the front line of dark ambient music for almost 30 years. Since its creation in 1993 and its first appearance on the legendary Swedish label Cold Meat Industry in 1995, Johan Levin, the project's sole member, has been exploring and perfecting his own universe of deeply dark, yet at the same time deeply emotional and dreamily evocative soundscapes.
The heart of Desiderii Marginis' music lies exactly at the crossroads between inner and outer atmosphere, nature and human nature, and their endless, fascinating interactions.
