The we.own.the.sky return to the stage after two years away, with their brand-new album 'In Your Absence' in their luggage. It's their third full-length effort, and the first to be released by Belgium's dunk! records, one of the most important labels in the world of post-rock and post-metal. The album, which made waves across the online media, will be backed by the band's first European tour, which will wrap up with one big celebration in Athens on the night of December 19th.

we.own.the.sky formed in the spring of 2010, while their first release, titled "The Glass/Nails EP", came out in January 2013 and was universally embraced by fans of instrumental rock and metal.
Starting out from post-rock and alternative metal influences, they very soon began grafting all sorts of disparate elements onto their music, from electronica to progressive metal, in a constant search for a sound of their own. Now happily clocking up fifteen years of existence, four releases and countless live shows, we.own.the.sky are rightly considered one of the most important Greek bands flying the flag for post-rock/metal, and for the broader alternative sound as well.
On Friday, December 19th they take the Gazarte Ground Stage for an explosive, emotionally charged night — the biggest show of their career to date. Beyond presenting 'In Your Absence' in its entirety, the setlist will also serve as a tribute to the band's fifteen years, with picks from across their whole discography.
Opening the night will be FUTUROKOMONO, the personal artistic project of music producer Kostas Zampos. Having worked for many years as a producer and
composer with dozens of artists from the Greek independent scene such as Sworr., Jef Maarawi, Afformance, Danai Nielsen and more, he is now exploring his own identity as a solo artist. Since 2024 he has released ten independent tracks, on most of which he collaborates and experiments musically with friends and people he admires. His sound is defined by a mix of disparate elements, combining electronica, rap, ambient, post rock and alternative.
