Brian Dalton with ‘The Follower’, gives a new dimension, with a track that leans much more into a rock mindset.
Born in the small town of Chaffee, Missouri, USA, Brian Dalton is a rock/pop singer whose passion for music has been all-consuming from a very young age. His family, who had a musical bent, used to fuel that flame. His music has been described as "original and fresh, with highly descriptive lyrics", according to the 2015 International Indie Song Contest judge, Kyle Novy.
The beginning
Starting out with a band that mainly played covers in the early 2000s, Brian only began pursuing his solo career as a singer/songwriter in 2013. He sought the help of Coty Walker from «BrothersWalker» of NBC's The Voice. Also, of Jake Bond from the Christian rock band «Adelaide» and Noah Henson from the Christian rock band «Pillar». His goal was recording his first EP. Of the 6 songs recorded, “The Truth” and “My Apology” took 2nd and 3rd place in the 2015 International Indie Song Contest. The EP kept on its upward trajectory, giving Brian the chance to perform live for Shawn Barron of Atlantic Records in Los Angeles, California.
Once his song “Drown” was recorded in 2018, he would see his music get recognised on another level. From the moment of its release, it was obvious that "Drown" was going to do something special. It has already surpassed 1.3 million views on YouTube and half a million streams in 86 countries on Spotify alone. This led Brian to sign non-exclusive one-year deals with Milwaukee Junction Records and Washington Street Publishing.
After "Drown", Brian started working with David Cassavitis. The brother of legendary musician Tony Orlando, offered up the renowned recording studio “The Mansion” in Branson, Missouri. He continues to collaborate with producer Jake Bond. At the same time, he's added the lead guitarist of the Christian metal band “War of Ages”, Jack Daniels, to his recording crew.

An artist with a selfless contribution
In 2020, when the world was shaken by covid, the singer was employed at EBO MD, a medical clinic in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, USA. He was tasked with checking the temperature of factory workers, to ensure their safety. In September 2020, under the same employer, he started administering covid swab tests. Since then, he has tested over a thousand people to help keep his community safe.
Even under these circumstances though, within 2020, Brian released 6 new singles. One of them, his single “The Follower“, was nominated for "Best of Rockfest". All this at the first annual Rockfest music festival in Los Angeles, held in November 2020, with Rob Zombie as guest of honour.
In May 2021, Brian achieved his greatest feat yet, when he went to Greece and, with the help of director and cinematographer Luna Al Masri, they filmed the documentary about him titled “Chasing The Sun“, where he told his story. Brian will release the title track and 2 more new singles alongside the documentary's release in the coming months.
