The Zakk Wylde is set to make a comeback with his band Black Label Society, returning with their new song "Set You Free". The announcement coincides with the arrival of the band's latest studio album, Doom Crew Inc., which is expected on November 26 via eOne.

In a pandemic year, Wylde found inspiration in the band's motto "first to bleed, last to leave". The record is a tribute to the fans the band has gathered all these years.
Wylde and his band – guitarist Dario Lorina, longtime bassist John "J.D." Deservio and drummer Jeff Fabb – recorded the album at Zakk's studio, Black Vatican, marking the fourth album recorded at his home. "Since Order of the Black, we've been making all the Black Label records here," he says with pride. "We make them, we put them in the oven, and then we put them in the box and ship them out».

The band started out with almost 30 songs for the album, before narrowing it down to the 12 that will be on the record. Speaking about the making of the record, Wylde added: 'We got father Dario even more involved in the solos, doubling up with me and getting more into that whole thing. It's really a two-guitar album, more than ever. We're a two-guitar band now. Like the Allman Brothers and Judas Priest, with harmony lines, unison lines, and trading solos. This evolution came out of the live shows, where both of us would go out into the crowd and stretch out songs like "Fire It Up».’
