The Zazen Sounds, the record label of V.P. Adept (leader of the black metal band Acherontas), announces the new release from Black Altar, “Arcana of the Higher Principles”. This is a collection featuring Black Altar's tracks from their 3 split releases with Kirkebrann, Beastcraft, as well as from the 3-way split with Varathron/Thornspawn. As a bonus there is a new, brand-new composition by Black Altar recorded specially for this release. The new song is the title track of the collection, and it's one of the most brutal recordings in the discography of Black Altar.
The collection "Arcana" consists of a set of 14 Unholy Black Metal compositions that showcase the evolution of Black Altar's craft over recent years.
The collection was released on July 11th in a limited edition 6 panel digipak. Also on that same exact day, sales of the collection began.
You can't expect anything less than pure hatred, brutality and devotion to the old ideals of black metal from these black metal veterans.
