Behringer: Announces a series of small amplifiers
The Swiss company Behringer has announced the manufacture of a new series of small amplifiers, suitable for practicing at home. The market for small guitar practice amplifiers is a fairly competitive place. So, any brand trying to break into it needs a strong pitch.

Behringer is likely to have price on its side with its new trio from the HS GEAR 2021 series. Prices are still unknown, but the company has taken the shape of affordable pricing. The series will also feature something it calls Virtual Tube Circuit technology.

What are the advantages of tube amplifiers at an affordable price? This is a familiar goal. "Designed to replicate the saturation and compression of those classic high-end tube amplifiers," says Behringer. "They deliver true tube tone, feel and response from this meticulously engineered solid state amplifier."
The starting trio of models HA-10G-, HA-20R and HA-40R in the HA series offers two independent channels and a three-band EQ.
The models from the small amplifier series of 10-, 20- and 40-watt come with a Bugera 6', 8' or 10' speaker respectively. The two larger models also feature onboard reverb.
