A metal opera with plenty going on
The Metal Opera by Battle Symphony presents a science-fiction story of the battle between an army of rebel humans against both the earthlings and the alien inhabitants of planet Earth. It comes to take you on a journey, and if it conjures up images for you, they've been captured beautifully and precisely by the artists who took part in this project! Looking at the names, you definitely have high hopes and expectations for what's about to reach your ears. Believe me, Battle Symphony have managed to far exceed your expectations and win you over, turning you into a fan of theirs from their very first album!
With pure heavy epic metal they come charging at you like a storm and unfurl their techniques. Techniques that will make you want to headbang, but also carry you off into gentler tones where the record calls for it. This will keep you from getting bored for even a minute. At the same time it'll make you itch to move on to the next track, and the one after that, just to see how the whole narrative the band is weaving turns out.
On the music
Truly wonderful work has gone into the album “War On Earth” and if you don't know the band, you won't realize it's a debut album. It's so well-crafted that you'd say they've been on the music scene for years. Its production reaches great heights without leaving a trace of imperfection.
And if you think you've seen it all, Battle Symphony with the record “War On Earth” don't stop there! They also try to take some risks within this album, something you'll notice reaching your ears through classical and funk music. All these styles blend seamlessly with the rest of the project and put the cherry on top! A very interesting approach that you'll surely love!
“War On Earth” is already out and will easily be a contender for the list of releases of the year! A seriously powerful Metal Opera that you'll love on every musical level!
