Joining them on stage will be the Volos lads Silent Winter who have conquered the top music stages in Greece and abroad. Opening the night are the impressive Subfire, who will be appearing with a new lineup, playing songs from their discography so far that many have come to love, but they'll also be treating us to their new songs due out soon. Three worthy representatives of Power Metal promise us a night that will get genre fans fired up, an evening at Temple Athens (Facebook, Instagram) that shouldn't be missed.

Arrayan Path

The Arrayan Path were formed in 1997. Singer Nicholas Leptos and guitarist Clement Fung, both students at Umass in Amherst, Massachusetts, realised they had a lot more in common than their love for Y. J. Malmsteen. So they started a bunch of songwriting sessions to see where it would take them. Their name came from a botanical site on the newly-founded world wide web, and "arrayán" was a type of flower. Being young and naive, the band dropped an "A" from the middle to make the name shorter (the "A" would come back later, in 2011) and more epic.

Silent Winter

The Silent Winter is a band based in Volos, formed in 1995. They move within the realm of melodic Heavy-Power Metal, with strong influences from bands like Stratovarius, Helloween and Gamma Ray. The band has released two demos, “Silent Winter” (1995) and “War Of An Angel” (1997).

Subfire

The Subfire are based in Athens. The band represents Heavy / Power Metal with powerful, heavy and epic riffs. Since their formation in 2004, they have released two demos and an EP and completed their debut full length album titled "Define the Sinner" in 2021. Now, having wrapped up the process for their second full length album, which will be released soon, they've focused on presenting their songs at as many live shows as possible.
