Allochiria

Formed in 2008 in Athens, post-sludge metallers Allochiria have two studio albums to their name so far, "Omonoia" (2014) and "Throes" (Art of Propaganda, 2017), as well as an EP bearing their name, while their third full-length release is already finished and is expected to come out in early 2023. With a long list of live shows and festival appearances over the years, Allochiria have shared the stage with names like Amenra, Social Distortion, Deafheaven, Year of No Light, Altar of Plagues, Toundra, Minsk, Harakiri for the Sky, Deaf Kids and quite a few more, have taken part in major festivals such as Desertfest Athens (2017), Rockstadt Extreme Fest in Romania (2014, 2018) and Rockwave Festival (2022), while they've also notched up two European tours (2015, 2018), with the third and most recent one (2020) getting cancelled because of the pandemic.

The music of Allochiria often sits comfortably alongside the works of great bands in the scene like Neurosis, Amenra, Isis and Cult of Luna, while their subject matter revolves around people as social beings and the corruption that defines them in modern societies, their futile efforts, the painful routine of everyday life, and the consequences of their actions on the world around them.

Inhale – Exhale. One, two, three and again… Hands holding the head. Ready to come loose and go tumbling down like a giant boulder. Shattered to pieces. The rage immense. Justice? Ha! Just a thought… Body folded up and stuffed away like a sack. How much more can it take? Don't bother standing up again. Whatever you do, they'll crush you. You'll find a way out, I know, but justice for you, never. Always remember: "The big fish eats the small one." So bitter, yet so true.

The Sadhus “The Smoking Community”, don't need many introductions. For 15 years now they've made sure of that, scattering extreme low-frequency hurricanes all over Greece. The goal is always one: FLATTENING. The sludge train from Piraeus has managed to stand alongside landmark names of the genre like Eyehategod, Weedeater, Dopethrone, Suma, Toner Low, Belzebong, Sardonis, Black Tusk, while they've also taken part in top festivals, like Desertfest Athens, New Long Fest and Farm Attack.
