“Out Of The Line” is the work with which Modern Glam Metalers Senses from Athens present themselves to the metal audience. “Out Of The Line” is the work with which Modern Glam Metalers Senses from Athens present themselves to the metal audience.
By Dimitris (Bari) Polyzois

It contains seven compositions, through which they lead us on an exploration of emotional and personal struggle. All of this in search of liberation and rebirth through intense experiences and relationships. Naturally using love, loneliness, tension and dependency as tools, the album invites listeners on a journey of self-discovery and revelation. Production was handled by Bob Katsionis, mastering was done by Νάσο Νομικό and the album artwork was overseen by Άγγελος Μαργαρίτης.
Deep dive into the tracks!
“Silent Disco” is a catchy electro-synth track straight out of the 80s, full of melancholic melodies, for the days that have passed and are about to come around again. “Lonely” is a Glam Metal track with guitar parts and refrains that leave the listener with a bittersweet feeling. “Hard Action” a mid-tempo track with hard riffs that gives a sense of freedom through speed, a speed expressed through its wandering solos. “I Know” a song about betrayal within a couple. With plenty of tempo shifts, from fast to slow. The acoustic guitar melodies aptly convey the feeling of despair and sorrow.
“Out Of Line” is the album's title track, a song about love. With pleasant melodies expressing the excitement of falling in love. And on the other hand its slow, melancholic parts depict the brief separation of this new couple. “Under Your Spell” is a concert-ready song about infatuation and emotional ups and downs, ballad-like with an amazing refrain. “Give Me Life…” is a cheerful Glam/Rock track about the vitality and strength that love can give, with technical drums and a melodic refrain. With the melancholic “…Charlize” we smoothly return to reality. It's an acoustic ballad influenced by the great ballads of the 80s.
Senses did an amazing job. Not just because they took us on a trip to the golden age of Metal, but because they managed to do it through melodies that express real emotion.
If someone were to listen to this album without knowing it's a new band, they'd think the compositions belong to the great Glam/Rock acts of the 80s. Senses are the rising force in Glam Metal. What comes through in their compositions is their passion and love for music, and I believe we have a lot of interesting things to look forward to from them in the future.
