Album Review: "My Name Is Katherine" – Meden Agan

Meden Agan are back on record with their new album "My Name Is Katherine". An album that's a gift to music lovers everywhere.

The Meden Agan have returned to the recording studio with the new album "My Name Is Katherine”. We'd been waiting and waiting for an album, and in the end our wait was rewarded!

Songs that stick in your head

With quite a few songs that stick in your head and with elements you don't easily come across in Greek bands, Meden Agan show with this album exactly who they are and why, whenever they put something out, everyone rushes to listen. This band stands out for many reasons, and it shows on this album. It has plenty of elements that will make you a fan of the band, if you aren't already. Some of these are Δήμητρα with her voice, the collective spirit in the compositions, the guitar techniques that a musical ear will pick up on, and the whole atmosphere of “My Name Is Katherine”.

There's no need to say much about the instruments, or about the genre the band plays. They do what they know how to do well, and it's exactly what's won us over. It's just that on this album it comes across more mature, with more assured reactions and with a passion you can feel throughout the whole album. And this passion has taken Meden Agan one step further and you see a bright future being built for them.

An album that will nail you to the spot!

Now as far as the tracks on the album go, there are many you'll love and truthfully it's hard to pick out any specific ones. But I'm giving a 10/10 to Moth. A single that also came out as a video and you absolutely must listen to it!

The new album by Meden Agan filled me up, and "My Name Is Katherine" I'm definitely putting among the best albums of the year! Grab it and wear it out! It's the best thing that's come out there lately!
