Antonis E. Haristos – “Why the workers are not the revolutionary subject”
An economic, political and philosophical study of the bureaucracy of the productive forces and the worker’s place in “Capital”. Published by Ypsikaminos.

Ypsikaminos has published Antonis E. Haristos' economic, political and philosophical study “Why the workers are not the revolutionary subject: The bureaucracy of the productive forces — Structures, power and dependence in ‘Capital'”.
The classics of Marxism identified the working class as history's potential revolutionary subject, in the prospect of social emancipation. The book re-examines that assumption.
The study is organised in three thematic levels, matching its three chapters. The first establishes the worker's material integration into the system; all three converge on a central line of argument, according to which the revolutionary problem has in substance never actually been posed in historical time.
